Jason Alexander will no longer appear in KFC campaigns, the client said last week. Omnicom’s BBDO in New York has used the actor in KFC TV spots since July 2001. Sources said his contract is up in July, and the client had been considering dropping Alexander for months [Adweek, Nov. 4]. According to TNS Media Intelligence/ CMR, KFC spent $225 million on measured media in 2002.
