AKQA Hires BBDO's Lipton for Xbox

AKQA has brought on BBDO cd Pierre Lipton to helm the creative on its Xbox business.
 
The independent agency said Lipton (pictured) would work as group creative director for the Microsoft gaming system account in AKQA’s San Francisco office, reporting to CCO Rei Inamoto.
 
Lipton spent two-and-a-half years at BBDO in New York, where worked on HBO, The Economist and AT&T. He joined Omnicom-owned BBDO in 2008 from TBWA\Chiat\Day, where he was an associate creative director credited with developing Absolut’s “In an Absolut World” tagline.
