OREGON Grady Britton Advertising in Portland has been named agency of record for Portland Teachers Credit Union. Insport International, a manufacturer of athletic apparel, has selected Leopold Ketel & Partners in Portland as its agency of record. Prideaux Swearingen Advertising and Public Relations in Portland has completed production on a two-page travel execution for American Express in conjunction with the Portland Area Visitors Association and Washington and Clackamas County hotels, restaurants and attractions. Karakas VanSickle Ouellette Advertising and Public Relations' Information Technology Group in Portland has been selected by three new clients to provide public relations services: American International Facsimile Products, eFusion and Kaspia Systems. The RalstonGroup in Bend has developed a campaign for the Running Y Ranch Resort that includes print and television executions. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Oxford & Drozda Advertising in San Diego has been selected by Cubic Corp. The agency will create advertising for the company's military combat training systems and automated fare collection systems. Spear/Hall Associates in San Diego has been hired by three new clients. They are: Your Office USA, the Great American Train Show and the 1998 California Open Wildlife Art Show & Carvers' Competition. Lorenz Advertising & Design in San Diego has created a logo and promotional packet to introduce ExpressTest, a new concept in drug screening. McGuire-Nicholas Co., a manufacturer of tool accessories, work gear and industrial safety products, has tapped RiechesBaird in Huntington Beach. The shop will handle public relations for the 65-year-old company. Vertical Marketing Network in Anaheim Hills has been selected by Del Monte Foods to assist in the development of annual marketing and promotion plans for its canned vegetable division. The agency was also hired by Omi Computer Products to develop marketing programs supporting its Rhinotek line of branded toner cartridges. Bailey/Gardiner Creative Communications in San Diego recently completed production for television, radio, print and collateral executions for White Water Canyon, San Diego County's first recreational water theme park. Beverly Hills-based Phyllis Klein & Associates has been selected by NaturaLase to implement a consumer-oriented marketing and public relations program for the company's lasers for cosmetic resurfacing. Lagrant Communications in Los Angeles has expanded its client list with the addition of AT&T, Marriott and Hawthorne Hospital. The clients will use Lagrant's media relations services. The Roxburgh Agency in Costa Mesa has created a new product rollout campaign for Monier 2000, a line of concrete roof tiles. The Lawson Marketing Group in Newport Beach has added several real estate companies to its client base: Americorp Lending Services, Baywood Development Group, HomeComings Financial Network and MBK Senior Properties. UTAH Scopes-Garcia-Carlisle Advertising and Public Relations in Salt Lake City has been chosen as the agency of record for Delta Airlines Destination Guide. The shop has also added Omniserve Cellular, a Utah-based mobile phone retail company, to its client roster. WASHINGTON Laser Hair Removal Clinic in Seattle has hired JayRay Ads & PR in Seattle to develop and produce a national advertising campaign including print and radio executions. Strategic Alliances Group in Washington, D.C., has expanded its U.S. operations by opening new offices in Seattle and Florida. John Coake IV, previously manager of Microsoft's Small Business Group, will head up the Seattle office. Film and editorial house Seattle Post in Seattle has changed its name to Rocket Pictures.
