St. John & Partners Advertising and Public Relations in Jacksonville was named agency of record by ABC 25 WJXX-TV. The station is the Jacksonville/Brunswick, Ga., ABC affiliate.

Golin/Harris Communications in Atlanta was retained by The Plumstead Group, also in Atlanta. The client markets products for the beverage industry.
Jackson Spalding Ledlie, a public relations firm in Atlanta has added six clients: National Commerce Bancorporation, Memphis, Tenn.; Sea Search Armada, Seattle; CARTA Corporate Advisors, Stockholm; and Egleston Children’s Hospital, Zeliff Wallace Investment Counsel and New South Design, all of Atlanta.
Grizzard, the Atlanta-based direct marketing firm, was hired by Kroger to develop a relationship marketing program. Billings were not disclosed.

Wray Ward Laseter in Charlotte was named agency of record by Pelton & Crane, a division of Siemens Medical System. The agency will assist the dental equipment company with a national marketing communications program.
The Jordan Group in Salisbury has formed a new graphic and apparel design division, The Design Mill. The new division will be headed by Michael Miller.
Persimmon IT has selected The Zimmerman Group in Durham to provide advertising, marketing and public relations to launch TargIT, an online database marketing system.

Leslie Advertising in Greenville has established a new division called Leslie Interactive. Former NASA engineer Jim Hyde was hired to run the new operation.

Media Partners, which is located in Memphis, has added several new accounts to its client roster. Recent additions include Odom Tennessee Pride Country Sausage, Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, Barnhill’s Country Buffet and Archer/Malmo Advertising.
Archer/Malmo Public Relations in Memphis was contracted to handle communications assignments for the new Hard Rock Cafe in Memphis. The agency will provide strategic planning, public relations and community relations planning services connected with the grand opening festivities.
