Cohen-Friedberg Associates in Framingham has developed a scratch and-win game card promotion for Blockbuster Video Stores. The event began this month in 700 stores in major eastern cities and runs through the end of October. Customers are encouraged to rent two videos to receive a game card and an opportunity to win a trip to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, a Blockbuster video rental and food from Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Blockbuster’s national ad agencies–Young & Rubicam (advertising) and Wunderman Cato Johnson (direct marketing), both in New York–are supporting the promotion.
