MRM Partners was awarded the advertising account for St. John’s University, based in the New York City borough of Queens. The New York shop, a unit of McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, will also handle the school’s broader, strategic marketing needs. Billings were undisclosed. Founded in 1870 by the Vincentian community, St. John’s University has six schools and colleges. The university has an enrollment of approximately 18,600 students and campuses in Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, Oakdale and Rome.

Dotglu, the year-old, digital and direct marketing spinoff of Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, cut four people from its 44-person work force in an effort to remain cash positive, Dotglu CEO Tina Cohoe confirmed.
