A COLORADO Sterling-Rice Group, Boulder, will provide brand development consulting services for three new clients: SM&A, a technical consulting firm; Navidec, an Internet development, applications, management and consulting company; and CoCreate, a software developer and marketer. Denver-based advertising and public relations agency Scream developed a campaign for Mountainsmith, designer and manufacturer of packs for the active lifestyle. A HAWAII GE Capital Hawaii, a wholly owned subsidiary of financial services company GE Capital, chose Honolulu-based ADWorks to lead its advertising and promotion efforts. A NEVADA Trahan, Burden & Charles, Reno, will develop branding for Itronics, a photochemical recycling company. A NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Razorfish, a digital solutions provider, chose Gentry Communications as its marketing communications partner for its San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. J. Stokes & Associates, Walnut Creek, added 120 Sacramento-area Subway restaurants to its client roster, along with A.G. Ferrari Foods and Yorkshire Foods, marketers of Del Monte dried fruit and nuts. The agency also picked up new assignments from Bell-Carter Foods for its Lindsay Olives brand, Sam Clar office furniture and Stanley Steemer. Michael Osborne Design, a San Francisco based business communications firm, will create a corporate identity for OnDisplay, a provider of infrastructure software for powering e-business portals and e-marketplaces. The Weber Group, a global technology public relations firm, has expanded its practice to San Francisco. A OREGON The Athena Co. in Portland chose crosstown shop JohnsonSheen Advertising as its agency for The Controllable Flush, a water conservation device. Kaady Car Washes, a professional car washing business, hired Portland's Koopman Ostbo for public relations services and Web site development for itself and its Kaady Chemical affiliate. Portland-based Leopold Ketel & Partners was selected to help market a statewide program that will provide kids with free dental sealants during February. The campaign is called "Keep Cavities Out." A SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Peter Green Design of Burbank created a new corporate image for Cerritos-based Penn Litho with the launch of its redesigned Web site. Penn Litho specializes in marketing materials for the retail, entertainment, financial, high-tech and healthcare industries. San Francisco-based creative digital studio Radium has expanded, moving its satellite studio into a larger Los Angeles facility. The shop also recently provided visual effects services to Ogilvy & Mather, New York, for a Hershey's campaign. REZN8, headquartered in Hollywood, helped to brand and package the revival of the old 1950s game show Twenty One. Beverly Hills-based Phyllis Klein & Associates Marketing Public Relations added Chattem, a Chattanooga, Tenn.-based marketer of personal care products; Sun Precautions, a Seattle-based marketer of protective clothing; and MediMom, an online medication reminder service. Hilary Kaye Associates, a Tustin-based marketing communications firm, has partnered with the Orange County chapter of Financial Executives International and also added SourcingLink.net and Composite Solutions to its client roster. Pittard Sullivan, Culver City, a marketing communications company specializing in entertainment and media, will service WordCruncher Internet Technologies, an online information company for business professionals. Nostrum Advertising, Long Beach, redesigned a sales proposal package for Sony Trans Com's entertainment systems and will design its Web site. Hollywood-based 3 Ring Circus, a global entertainment branding agency, created a new on-air identity for TBWA Athens, a news and entertainment channel. Williams Worldwide Television, Santa Monica, distributor of products in infomercials, acquired exclusive international rights for infomercial Dermal Tone. Planet Blue, Santa Monica, worked on the NextCard campaign from San Francisco agency Arnold Ingalls Moranville. Class-Key Chew-po Commercials joined TBWA/Chiat/Day, Playa del Rey, to create a promotional trailer called "Love Child" for Digital Entertainment Network. The Blaze Co., a full-service marketing communications and public relations firm in Venice, added clients including Healthshop.com, Health Pro Products, Q-Sport LLC, Santa Anita Park and Red Mountain Resort & Spa. Interocean Systems, San Diego, and Arinc, Annapolis, Md., both chose The Sutherland Agency in San Diego for advertising and marketing services. San Diego's Four Square Productions, a full-service multimedia production company, added projects for Optical Micro Machines, Orincon, Copper Mountain Networks and Sempra Energy. True North Communications, Chicago, acquired a 49 percent stake in Imada Wong Communications Group, headquartered in Los Angeles. The Asian American and Pacific American marketing services company will become part of TN's North America Strategies Group. La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill, acquired by the Santa Barbara Restaurant Group, selected Irvine-based Johnson/Ukropina as its advertising agency. The electronic imaging division of Toshiba America Business Solutions has its first new corporate identity in 11 years via Nostrum Advertising, Long Beach. FMJ Adcomm, a healthcare ad agency based in Venice, created a Web billboard to promote its "Spotlight on Creativity" philosophy of making temporary Web sites more exciting. A UTAH Wall Street Communications, a marketing and communications services agency in Salt Lake City, was retained to provide services for Cahners MicroDesign Resources, publishers of the Microprocessor Report.
