A ILLINOIS
Ross/Brown Integrated Marketing Communications, Chicago, recently broke a new trade print campaign for Energy Steel Products.

A INDIANA
Montgomery Zukerman Davis in Indianapolis was awarded business from the Indiana Protection and Advocacy Services, a federally funded state agency that works with people with disabilities. MZD will do a public awareness program on the agency’s behalf.

A IOWA
Sunrise Mushrooms named Erickson-McLellan in Des Moines as its agency of record. The Watsonville, Calif., company is an online marketer of home mushroom-growing kits.
A KANSAS
The Kansas Department of Commerce & Housing selected Callahan Creek in Topeka as agency of record for its Travel & Tourism Development Division. The agency will provide strategic and creative direction in the department’s effort to attract tourists.

A MICHIGAN
Ideas & Images in Pontiac has merged with The MarketShare Group, Royal Oak. The new agency, Ideas & Images/MarketShare will be headquartered in Pontiac.
The Berline Group, Bloomfield Hills, was hired by RolandBerger, Munich, Germany, to develop a campaign for the U.S. automotive industry.
Simons Michelson Zieve in Troy was named agency of record for rootlevel, Detroit, a Web-based applications design firm. SMZ was also named agency of record for the Northern Michigan Regional Health System in Petoskey.
Alan Frank & Associates, Bloomfield Hills, opened an office in Providence, R.I., which will be run by general manager Ilene Moore.

A MINNESOTA
The United Way of the St. Paul Area contracted Hedstrom/Blessing in Minneapolis to provide strategic counseling and produce collateral materials. Much of the work will be provided pro bono.
Foley Sackett in Minneapolis will handle public relations duties for e-commerce specialist Dynamic Informations Systems. Separately, retail technology developer Retek, named the shop its agency of record.

A MISSOURI
Kupper Parker Communications in St. Louis will provide public and investor relations services for Reliv International. KPC has already begun publicizing the St. Louis Rams’ use of the nutritional supplements.
J.S. Alberici Construction Co. selected Maring, Kanefield & Weissman to handle its marketing efforts. The St. Louis agency will develop an image campaign to roll out nationally this spring.

A WISCONSIN
Ovation Marketing in La Crosse was awarded a Silver Award in Interactive from the Wisconsin Direct Marketing Association for its Stock Yards of Chicago e-commerce Web site.
