Match Inc. was signed to take care of creative strategy and development, Napolitano & Associates was chosen to provide strategic media planning and buying, and Melissa Libby & Associates was tapped for public relations support. The client was founded in Hawaii in 1993.
Atlanta relationship marketing firm point b has been retained by United Consulting Group, also of Atlanta. The client is a multi-discipline engineering and technology company specializing in earth sciences and environmental testing services. Separately, the agency was named to launch marketing campaigns for Simmons Co. and Kimberly Clarke’s Neenah Papers Sector. Point b was also honored with an Award of Merit from the Printing Industry of the South for its work on Chase Merchant Services, a division of Chase Manhattan Bank and First Data Corp.
Textron Financial Corp. in Atlanta, has hired local advertising agency McCool Communications. The client, who has never had a full-fledged agency relationship, specializes in golf course financing.
Atlanta-based Catspaw Productions, an audio communications company, received two Silver Medallion Awards for radio spots created for Carsey-Warner and All American Television. The awards were given by Promas International, an association devoted to promotional and marketing professionals in the electronic media.
Turner and Turner Communications in Atlanta recently won first place in the radio promotion category and best in show in copywriting at the International Newspaper Marketing awards competition.
