COLORADO The Integer Group, a marketing and communications agency in Lakewood, recently launched a new division, IQ, specializing in technology-based solutions. Citation Computer Systems has retained the creative services division of Carl Thompson Associates in Louisville to design its 1998 annual report to shareholders. Joe Franzgrote, retired president and general manager of Denver's KUSA-TV, Channel 9, has formed a new advertising partnership with The Northway Group, a full-service advertising agency headed by Pete Northway. The new shop, The Northway Group Denver, will be headquartered in Denver. The agency has also established a management group consisting of local marketing and creative professionals. Fisher Business Communications, based in Santa Ana, Calif., has teamed with Encore Marketing in Newport Beach, Calif., to form FBC/Encore. Its new office will open in Colorado Springs. NEVADA Admart, an advertising agency in Las Vegas, recently acquired several new clients: Devante Eyewear in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Masquerade Village at the Rio, Bowmer & Berry's Showkase, Tom Saitta's Integrity Dodge, Falconi's Acura and the Las Vegas Tourist Bureau. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Red Sky Interactive, a San Francisco-based design and development company, has created a new Web site for Nike focusing on Tiger Woods. The site, "Sport TW: A New Course In Golf," supports Nike's "Golf's not hard" advertising campaign, which also features Tiger Woods. OREGON TriAd in Bend was named agency of record for the St. Charles Medical Center Foundation. Obie Media Corp. in Eugene has submitted a letter of intent to acquire all of the outstanding capital stock of Pennsylvania-based P&C Media. Seattle-based CMI Worldwide, a development and marketing firm for interactive digital video technologies and products, has selected DVA Advertising in Bend and Lake Oswego to handle a number of marketing and communications assignments. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Fowler-Losey & Associates has been renamed Ann M. Fowler & Associates and has relocated from San Diego to Carlsbad. Los Angeles-based Mercury Media and Blagman International have formed a joint media service designed especially for Fortune 1000 corporate clients. Vista Metropolitan Outdoor Media, Los Angeles, has acquired Cal Pac Bulletins. Marketing entrepreneur Ray Schwartz and writer-director-producer Tom Bixby have teamed up to form White Light Entertainment, an international marketing and production company. Based in Los Angeles, the new entity will serve both the direct response and entertainment industries. Back Bay Communications in Costa Mesa has opened a public relations department that will be team managed by Back Bay founder Korye Logan and president Nicole Marshall. Quill Communications, Encinitas, has been selected to create and manage databases for two catalogs from Hewlett-Packard. Mustang Marketing and Advertising in Agoura Hills has been hired to create a new corporate image and identity package for Paxton Automotive Corp. of Camarillo. The Townsend Agency in San Diego has created a new division to provide advertising, public relations, investor relations and marketing services for education companies. Senior vice president Peggy R. Lanier will lead the new division. First Allied Securities hired Media Dimensions, a San Diego-based marketing communications agency, as its agency of record. The Merced County Economic Development Corp. hired Stoorza Design & Advertising in San Diego to provide marketing and advertising duties. The agency has also been hired by Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning for marketing and advertising services. Public Communications/West, a high-tech marketing communications agency in Santa Fe Springs, has completed three projects for Memtek Productions. RiechesBaird Advertising in Irvine has been selected to handle advertising and marketing needs for Rainbow Technologies. Levinson Associates in Los Angeles has been hired as public relations marketing consultants to Avenue Records. Koppes & Partners Advertising in Irvine has formed a new division, The Event Management Group, dedicated to the development and management of sporting events, corporate meetings and fundraisers. Hilary Kaye Associates in Newport Beach has added Tom Bay Speaks Up and Chee Productions to its client roster. Vista Metropolitan Outdoor Media in Los Angeles has been renamed Vista Media. Fraser/Young in Santa Monica has split up to form two separate agencies: Fraser & Huff and Young Co. UTAH Health Care Centers of America in Salt Lake City has hired Scopes-Garcia-Carlisle Advertising and Public Relations to handle its financial public relations. The shop has also been retained by J P Realty. Cyber Media has selected Euro RSCG DSW Partners in Salt Lake City as its agency of record for all advertising in North America. WASHINGTON Creative works of Seattle has been hired by Bellevue telecommunications firm Tegris Corp. to provide marketing communications for the company's new Internet services. The agency has also been hired by Seattle-area home healthcare technology firm Orca Technologies. WhiteRunkle Associates, an advertising agency with offices in Spokane and Kirkland, has launched a Web services division. DeLaunay/Phillips Communications, a public relations firm in Seattle, recently added three new accounts to its client base: United Salmon Association, Arch National Services Division and Tender Loving Care. McCann-Erickson/Seattle has been retained as agency of record for DoubleUp Wakeboards. Northwest Hospital hired Copacino in Seattle as its advertising agency.
