NEW YORK – Agencies hungry for a fast-food account may get a chance to take a bite out of the $15 million Shoney’s Restaurants account. The $1.8 billion chain, headquartered in Nashville, confirms it has solicited reels from several large and mid-sized shops but terms the process an internal review. Jeff Sowell, vp/advertising and marketing for Shoney’s said the chain simply wants to ‘see what’s out there.’ The review doesn’t involve any of the other chains Shoney’s owns. The Shoney’s account currently is parked at Ogilvy & Mather/Atlanta.
