A&G Recasts State Street Corp.

State Street Corp., in a global print campaign from Allen & Gerritsen, adopts the tagline, “For everything you invest in” and recasts itself as a purveyor of investment technology and information.

The Boston-based company previously used the tag, “Serving institutional investors worldwide.”

Spending by State Street in recent years has been in the $3-5 million range, per Competitive Media Reporting.

The campaign from Watertown, Mass.-based Allen & Gerritsen depicts computer ports and keypads to illustrate State Street’s involvement in all aspects of investing and to demonstrate the services and information investors can access.

One execution shows sparkling blue columns of ones and zeroes racing around a backlit information port wall unit.

Mick O’Brien and Doug Chapman served as creative directors for the campaign. Mike Davis wrote the copy; Brian Bernier handled art direction. Steve Bronstein, whose extensive portfolio includes Absolut Vodka executions, was the photographer.

Ads are currently appearing in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and elsewhere. Product-focused print work and a TV component are being developed.
