CHICAGO The Missouri Lottery Commission has awarded its $2 million advertising contract to independent agency Adamson, the shop confirmed.

The St. Louis shop had been working on the account, which is valued at $400,000 in revenue, through another state agency for the past year. Adamson won the one-year contract, which begins in January 2006, after a review involving co-finalist Kupper Parker in St. Louis.

The board, which unanimously approved the contract, was impressed with Adamson’s previous experience with the lottery and with convenience and grocery stores, which sell the tickets, said Gary Gonder, a representative for the Missouri Lottery Commission.
