NEW YORK The American Advertising Federation named five new inductees into the Advertising Hall of Fame this week and will honor them at an awards ceremony on March 18 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York.

The five inductees are: Hal “Cap” Adams, retired chairman and CEO of Leo Burnett Co.; Phil Dusenberry, former chairman, BBDO North America; John H. Johnson, publisher and chairman of Johnson Publishing Co. and founder of Ebony and Jet magazines; David Sarnoff (1891-1971), president and chairman of RCA; Dave Thomas (1932-2002), founder of Wendy’s International and icon of the quick-service chain.
