NEW YORK Bartle Bogle Hegarty here has laid off a dozen staffers to get expenses in line with revenue, roughly four months after Miller Lite shifted its creative account to Draftfcb, the agency has confirmed.

The estimated 7 percent cut affected several departments and included executive creative director of innovation Robert Rasmussen, who joined the Publicis Groupe-backed agency last fall, said sources. Rasmussen was among a half-dozen ecds under chief creative director Kevin Roddy.

Client fee reductions and a relative lack of new business triggered the decision to reduce headcount, according to a source.
