$5 Mil. NationsRent Goes to Zimmerman

ATLANTA Zimmerman Partners has won the $5 million advertising account of NationsRent after a review of undisclosed agencies, the shop said.

The incumbent was independent Ross Creative + Strategy of Peoria, Ill.

The client is asking the Omnicom Group-owned shop to rebrand the company via a campaign that will include broadcast, print and outdoor iterations, as well as direct mail. The effort launches in the spring.

Both agency and client are located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

“The ultimate goal is to create brand distinction for NationsRent without ever losing sight of the number of transactions needed, every single day, so they can gain significant business share and become No. 1 in their industry,” said Michael Goldberg, chief marketing officer for Zimmerman.

NationsRent is one of the country’s largest heavy equipment rental firms. It operates about 260 locations in 26 states.
