4 Advance in Foster Farms Review

LOS ANGELES Foster Farms has cut to four finalists in the review for the creative portion of its $7-10 million account, confirmed Select Resources International, the consultancy conducting the process.

The California shops that have advanced to the finals are Dentsu’s Colby & Partners in Santa Monica, WPP Group’s Young & Rubicam in San Francisco, and Omnicom’s BBDO West and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, both in San Francisco. As the incumbent, Goodby had an automatic pass to the finals.

Shops that were eliminated from contention were MDC Partners’ Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Venice, Calif.; Publicis Groupe’s Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco and independent WongDoody in Los Angeles.

Omnicom’s DDB in San Francisco withdrew prior to chemistry checks due to a client conflict, according to SRI in Santa Monica, Calif.

Media remains with Havas’ Media Planning Group in Los Angeles.

The Livingston, Calif., poultry producer, which markets its products in California, Oregon and Washington, has worked with Goodby since 1993.

Following creative presentations, a decision is expected in July.
