NEW YORK NYSE Euronext today briefed three finalists in its global review of creative and media duties. Those shops are: McCann Erickson, DDB and Euro RSCG, sources said.
Each shop is pitching out of its office here and partnering with the New York office of a sister media agency. The Interpublic Group’s McCann is teamed with Universal McCann; Omnicom Group’s DDB is partnered with PHD; and Havas’ Euro RSCG has joined with MPG, according to sources.
Final presentations are scheduled for late October with a decision expected shortly thereafter. Billings on the global account are estimated at $25-30 million.
The finalists emerged last week after client executives visited a half-dozen shops, said sources. The identities of the contenders that did not advance could not be ascertained.
Currently, the New York-based client uses Publicis Groupe’s Fallon in Minneapolis for creative and media duties in the U.S., and various other agencies on a project basis overseas.
NYSE Euronext is among nearly a dozen companies in the financial sector that have launched reviews this year.
The contenders either declined to comment or could not be reached. Ark Advisors, the New York consultancy managing the search, did not return calls.
