NEW YORK CBS has placed its media account in review, the company confirmed today. The network spends an estimated $130 million annually on ads, according to TNS Media Intelligence.

Aegis Group’s Carat is the incumbent and will defend, the client said.

Los Angeles-based consultancy Opinions, headed by former McCann Erickson and Sony Pictures executive Cheryl Lodinger, has been retained to manage the competition.

Up to now, Carat has been handling media for the CBS and UPN networks.
