MSNBC Names 2 New Executive Producers

MSNBC president Phil Griffin has announced the promotion of two women to executive producer positions: Colleen King and Tina Urbanski. (TVNewser)

According to the announcement, King “now helms The 11th Hour [with Brian Williams] as executive producer,” while Urbanski “takes on the role of co-executive producer at Hardball, continuing … alongside fellow co-ep Court Harson.” (Axios)

Pat Burkey previously executive-produced 11th Hour and will continue producing afternoon show Deadline: White House, in addition to working with Williams on breaking news. Urbanski began her career at the network as Chris Matthews’ assistant and rose up the ranks. (THR)

Urbanski’s promotion follows the retirement of current co-ep and 19-year MSNBC veteran Ann Klenk. (Deadline)
