LinkedIn Now Has More Than 500 Million Members in 200 Countries

LinkedIn announced Monday that it now has more than 500 million members in 200 countries. Vice president of growth and international products Aatif Awan said in a blog post that the LinkedIn community now represents more than 10 million active jobs, provides access to more than 9 million companies and hosts more than 100,000 published articles each week. The United Arab Emirates is the most connected country (with an average 211 connections per user) while London is the most connected place. Staffing and recruiting are the most connected industries (averaging 702 connections per person), followed by venture capital and private equity. (Adweek)
