Josh Goldstine Out at Universal Marketing After Investigation

Josh Goldstine is out as Universal’s president of marketing after a weeks-long investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct. (THR)

On Feb. 14, it emerged that Goldstine had been placed on administrative leave while the studio investigated the allegations. At that same time, evp, creative strategy and research, Seth Byers, was let go after allegations of “inappropriate conduct” surfaced in the marketing department. (Deadline)

Michael Moses, co-president of the department, will oversee the staff following Goldstine’s exit. It is unclear if Goldstine will be replaced. Universal has not said what the inappropriate conduct entailed, nor have they specifically outlined Goldstine and Byers’ offenses. (Variety)
