Barack Obama Gives Final Broadcast TV Interview as President to Steve Kroft

President Barack Obama will appear in his last presidential interview on broadcast TV on 60 Minutes Presents Barack Obama: Eight Years In The White House. The hour-long special will air Sunday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. (TVNewser)

Conducted by Steve Kroft, the interview will include current topics including President-elect Donald Trump and Obama’s two-term legacy. The hour also will follow the 44th president’s journey through his own words in the 60 Minutes interviews he did with Kroft, beginning when Obama declared his candidacy in 2007, through the elections and the milestones of his eight years in the White House. The interview between Obama and Kroft was conducted this week at the White House. Obama’s sit-downs on the show have included his first-ever interview as the president-elect in November 2008, an interview about his first two months in office in March 2009, Osama bin Laden’s killing in 2011 and more.
