EPpy Winners
New York (May 15, 2008)—The New York Times Web site, NYTimes.com, and USA Today’s site, USATODAY.com emerged as the big winners of the 2008 EPpy™ Awards, hosted by Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek and presented by The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. The EPpy™ winners were announced today at the Interactive Newspaper Conference and Trade Show in Las Vegas at the Rio Hotel.


Mediaweek.com Relaunch
New York, NY (May 5, 2008)—Today Mediaweek, a Nielsen Business Media publication, re-launches its online extension of the 17-year leading business-to-business weekly, Mediaweek.com.  The retooled Web site features an abundance of new multimedia components, Web videos, podcasts, breaking news, a cohesive data center and a strengthened online community.


Magazine Hot List announced
New York, NY (March 31, 2008)—For the first time ever, global news and business bible The Economist shoots to the No.1 spot on AdweekMedia’s annual “Hot List.” Released today, the highly anticipated “Hot List” honors the publications and creative talents that keep consumers coming back to the newsstands. Media Plan of the Year Call for Entries
NEW YORK, NY (March 17, 2008)—Mediaweek announced today the call-for-entries for its 15th annual Media Plan of the Year Awards, which recognizes the year’s best media plans in twelve categories. The entry deadline has been extended until March 21 and submissions can be made at www.mediaplanoftheyear.com. The 2008 Best Media Plan of the Year winners will be determined by a distinguished panel of industry experts and honored at an awards reception held at The Rainbow Room in New York City on June 18. The grand prize winner will receive $10,000 at the exclusive awards luncheon, to be attended by over 300 of today’s top media, marketing and advertising professionals.


NEW Mediaweek Editorial Sections
NEW YORK, NY (January 15, 2008) — Mediaweek, a Nielsen Business Media publication, has introduced several editorial additions that ensure it is providing information that matters most to its audience.  The new features include a fresh, upfront perspective of magazine coverage by senior editor Lucia Moses, an updated “Magazine Monitor” chart analysis section; and the return of the popular “Market Profiles” section.


Adweek Print and Online Relaunch
