Denver-based Brozena Schaller Menaker & Ripley hired senior production artist Sheryl Simmons, production artist Chris Utsler and account executive Christopher Kaskie. Kent Laird joined Barnhart/CMI as a producer for its Barnhart Interactive unit. The Denver agency also added Alison Rosenwasser as an assistant account executive. HAWAII Milici Valenti Ng Pack, Honolulu, appointed Ken Kaess to its board of directors. Kaess is president of DDB North America. Honolulu-based ADWorks added Kyle Osaki, Wade Nishimura and Alison Won to its staff. Osaki joins as printing production manager; Nishimura rejoins the agency as a copywriter, having served in a similar capacity at crosstown Milici Valenti Ng Pack; and Won joins as an assistant account executive. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA MysteryNet: The Online Mystery Network, San Francisco, appointed Jeffery Davis, formerly of Newsweek, as its vice president of sales. OREGON Leopold Ketel & Partners, Portland, added Nancy De Turk as production/traffic manager. Red Monkey Ads & Ideas added Mark Evans as a copywriter. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Brett Cavanaugh was promoted to director, local ad sales at the Game Show Network. The Culver City-based cable channel also promoted Faye Walker to director of marketing and Gianna Provenzano to director of trade shows and special events. Kenneth Warun was appointed vice president, on-air promotion. Susan Kantor was promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president, marketing, for Studios USA Domestic Television in West Hollywood. She is based in New York. Also, the company promoted Elizabeth Herbst to executive vice president, advertiser sales. LaGrant Communications, Los Angeles, named Ana Ochoa an account manager. Ochoa will be responsible for the agency's Greater Los Angeles YWCA and California Family Health Council accounts. In addition, the agency hired Elizabeth Rodriguez as an account coordinator. UPN named Susan Hajny director, central sales. Separately, Eileen LeMonda was promoted to vice president, network sales, and Lloyd Schloss was elevated to vice president, sales finance, at the Los Angeles-based TV network. Jon Petrovich, former president of Turner Broadcasting System, Latin America, was appointed executive vice president, international channels, for Columbia TriStar International Television in Culver City. Korn/Ferry International, Los Angeles, appointed Shayne Lightner managing director. Nickelodeon International promoted Katrina Southon to senior director, network operations and programming, global network ventures. The Santa Monica programming service also appointed Andrew Struse creative director, global network ventures, and Christine Leo-McKerrow director, marketing and communications, global network ventures. ISchraff, the interactive services division of Newport Beach-based Schraff Group, hired Richard Barker as a senior Web developer. Class-Key Chew-Po Commercials, Hollywood, signed Tom Decker to direct animated spots for the commercials division of parent company Klasky Csupo, Inc. Pat Moloney was promoted to vice president, entertainment, at Universal Studios Hollywood. Previously he served as director of entertainment. Jeffery Dunaj joined Novocom, Los Angeles, as senior art director. Dunaj had been working at Home & Garden Television in New York as a design director. The Gable Group in San Diego added Jennifer Stein as assistant account executive in public affairs/social marketing. Christine Salzman has returned to MC Direct, San Diego, as a project coordinator in the client services department. The agency's Costa Mesa office promoted Tracy Strauss to account executive. Stewart Holt Advertising added Jessica Trof and Brad Selsor as art directors. The Ontario agency also promoted Jennifer Gilbert to account service coordinator and Candy Pineda to public relations assistant. Eileen Rivkin Sherman was named West Coast advertising manager for React, Los Angeles, an interactive news and entertainment magazine for teens. Oster & Associates, San Diego, promoted Karin Oster to media assistant. Sheila Ivary was appointed chief financial officer for BDS Marketing in Irvine. David Anglikowski joined Cassle Communications in San Diego as an account coordinator. Movieline magazine hired Jennifer G. Gray as Los Angeles advertising manager, a new position. Gray previously was with Primedia in its special interest consumer division of regional bridal magazines, The Modern Bride Connection. DZone Studio in San Pedro added Scott Lomas as a marketing strategist. Prior to joining the company, Lomas directed sales and marketing for CAPA, a multinational educational service provider. Walter Latham Direct Marketing and Advertising, Newport Beach, added Lori Graff as senior account executive and Kristin Sandstrom as account executive. WASHINGTON Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, Seattle, appointed Colleen Finch vice president of its retail division. She previously served as divisional vice president of corporate business development for Redmond-based Eddie Bauer. KRWM, Seattle, hired Lori Carter as an account executive. Ron Hawkins joined the Seattle office of Think New Ideas as a senior copywriter. The company also added Mike Kroesen to its staff as a video producer and Jon Nolz as a program manager. Kelsey Wekell is the latest addition to the client service team as an account executive at JayRay Ads & PR, Tacoma. Ann Brown joined the agency as an account manager.
