AOL Preps 'Morning Rush'

NEW YORK AOL on Nov. 3 will launch "Morning Rush," a daily five-minute video compilation of the best of morning TV.

Episodes of "Morning Rush," which will be posted each day at noon EST on the AOL Living channel, will feature a compilation of highlight clips culled together from that morning’s Good Morning America, Today, The Early Show, Live With Regis & Kelly, CNN’s American Morning and Fox News’ Mike & Juliette, among others.

The new series is similar in concept to "They Said What?" a long running feature on People.com which pulls together the best of daytime TV from shows like Rachael Ray and The View.

AOL has landed Procter & Gamble as the debut sponsor of "Morning Rush."

On the "Morning Rush" site, living.aol.com/morning-rush, besides streaming episodes viewers can comment on and vote for the top clips each day.

In addition, AOL is planning to introduce a portable "Morning Rush" widget as well as an option to showcase the series on users’ Facebook profiles.
