Arnold Expands With Ocean Spray

Boston shop adds digital chores and sports marketing

March 31, 2008

- Adweek Staff

BOSTON Havas-owned Arnold said it has expanded its relationship with Ocean Spray, adding digital chores and sports marketing duties through its TrinityOne Sports unit.

Through the new arrangement, "We're better able to develop more strategic, more innovative and more effective cross-channel solutions for Ocean Spray to impact their business," said Pam Hamlin, president of Boston-based Arnold, which has worked with Ocean Spray for the past 10 years.

The client spent nearly $45 million in measured media last year, up 15 percent from 2006, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

Arnold will now develop all online advertising for the client, including a site update as well as the launch of Cranergy, the company's first line of naturally energizing juice drinks. (Traditional ads for Cranergy are also planned.)

In the sports realm, Arnold and TrinityOne will now negotiate deals for all Ocean Spray products across appropriate channels.

"We look forward to teaming up with Arnold to push the envelope in both digital and sports marketing," said Ken Romanzi, COO of Ocean Spray.
