Singh Joins Euro RSCG Discovery

NEW YORK Euro RSCG Discovery has hired former Universal McCann executive Jatinder Singh in the new role of North American managing director.

Singh, 43, will be based in the shop's Wilton, Conn., office and report to North American CEO Zain Raj. The new executive will focus on new business development and lead the shop's customer relationship management practice, an agency representative said.

Euro RSCG Discovery employs about 128 staffers at offices in Wilton, Chicago, Baltimore, Richmond, Va., and Mineola, N.Y.

Previously, Singh was director of measurement and accountability at Interpublic Group's UM in New York. He worked there from 2007 until last year.

Earlier in his career, Singh was group director of strategic services at WPP Group's Wunderman and director of marketing analytics at WPP's OgilvyOne. He entered advertising in 1994 as a statistics manager at Omnicom Group's WWAV Rapp Collins in the U.K.

"Jatinder's ability to develop pragmatic, data-driven strategies to achieve demonstrable gains for our clients will be key," said Raj, in a statement.

Euro RSCG Discovery is the direct marketing arm of Havas' Euro RSCG. Its top clients include Diageo, IBM, Liberty Mutual, Sprint and Volkswagen.
