Team One Hires CD on Lexus

Troy Kooper joins Team One.

LOS ANGELES Saatchi & Saatchi’s Team One has hired Troy Kooper as a creative director to help guide integrated efforts on the national Lexus account.

Kooper joins the shop in El Segundo, Calif., from Omnicom’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, where he worked on many key accounts including Hyundai, Comcast and Hewlett-Packard.

Lexus, long Team One's showcase account, spent $260 million in 2007 measured media and more than $90 million through the first five months of this year, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

“Between working with an inspiring creative team and developing campaigns for a distinguished client like Lexus, I have all the tools to deliver my personal best,” Kooper said in a statement.

Prior to joining Goodby, Kooper worked at Mekanism, winning several industry awards for Microsoft’s Windows Vista Clearification campaign, including two Cannes silver Cyber Lions, a D&AD Yellow Pencil and a 2007 Webby award.

His past stints include i-shop R/GA in New York.
