Yahoo has signed a deal to get it’s content into the cell phones everywhere by teaming up with tiny Calif. startup 4Info. Included in the doldrum: news updates, horoscopes, sports scores and weather forecasts — all delivered SMS style but not without the obligatory ad.
Ad space will be filled either by Yahoo or 4Info — with the payout going 60-40. The bigger chunk, according to WaPo, will go to whichever of the two sold the ad.
