With Gmail now the trendiest name in email (yes, it’s “trendy”), having a Yahoo! email address is almost uncool as having an AOL email address. Well, it’s not THAT bad, but a few years down the line your AshtonKLuvr@yahoo.com addy could evoke nostalgia I actually met a grown woman a few months ago with an email address similar to that, but it ended @hotmail.com. Wow.
Back to the point, our pals at Goodby teamed up with production company Blacklist and directors Zoe Wishart and Sean Starkweather to make a couple of little animated vignettes highlighting the emotional, personal aspects of email. Okay, it’s not as personal as mailing an actual letter, but who does that anymore?
