Having now set a Guinness World Record with its Aardman Animations collaboration, Wieden + Kennedy London keeps the Nokia N8 initiative rolling with this latest film entitled “Dragonfly Love”-inspired by The Dragon Fly Project on Vimeo.
Two foes battle it out wearing some fierce looking outfits and using remote control dragonflies to fight each other until suddenly the dragonflies fall in love and leave them. Sounds like someone had a crazy dream, wrote it down and made a spot out of it-whatever works for ya.
Thomas Hilland directed this piece using only the Nokia N8’s 12 mega pixel HD cam with hardly any smoke and mirrors. Other accoutrements of the phone include Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash, HD-quality video recording, Dolby surround sound–it’s like the Swiss army knife of cameras. The music was provided by Kap Bambino and the dragonflies buzzing about are real. Check out a making-of clip after the jump.
