Who’s in the Market for a ‘Crappy’ W+K Jacket?

By Kiran Aditham

That’s not our description, but one drafted by eBay seller “edburgoyne,” who in his own words wants you to “bid now on a bit of NYC advertising history.” What exactly does this “history” entail? Well, the starred seller is trying to get rid of the above size XL black men’s jacket, complete with embroidered patches that he says he received while working at Wieden + Kennedy along with a bonus nylon messenger bag he acquired while at TAXI. The jacket itself is fine as is we guess, but the patches, um, well, that’s another story (we wonder if W+K still does this).

Last we checked, there are currently 0 bids in this auction, but there are six days left. We believe, though, that edburgoyne’s description isn’t really helping matters. Among other things, he says, “To make up for the really crappy (yet warm) coat (it was worn a few times, albeit to go to various bars to drown my sorrows after another late night at the office), I have included a random crappy nylon messenger bag.”
