Wheat Thins Continues Cozying Up to Tweeters

By Michael Musco

Chi-Town shop The Escape Pod continues its “Tweet Scenarios” campaign, which was launched last July and turned Wheat Thins-related tweets from simple musings into reality. The brand sought out and surprised random, unsuspecting tweeters who voiced their opinions about the Kraft cracker on the microbrogging service. Though some people initially called bullshit on the “reality” aspect of the campaign, Wheat Thins later later tried to prove them wrong.

In this latest spot above, a bloke who goes by the name of chrismacho tweets, “Had a hunch today would be good but didn’t think it would be THIS good…Wheat Thins is now following me on Twitter.” He was then paid a little visit where Wheat Thins made his day even better by creating a mobile billboard which reads, FOLLOW @CHRISMACHO. HE’S AWESOME! Now, if we can only get someone to do that for us, we’d say like Ice Cube that it was a good day. View agency credits and the rest of the campaign after the jump.
