Michael Goldberg is Leaving Zimmerman

By Kiran Aditham

We’ve heard from chirping birds in the ether that Michael Goldberg, the Zimmerman EVP/CMO who gave us one of the most memorable agency statements of all time, is leaving the agency in a matter of weeks. Goldberg has been with the South Florida-based operation for nearly nine years, but is no stranger to the neighborhood as he served as CEO of Fort Lauderdale-based (represent) Harris Drury Cohen. According to one bio, “In his career, [Goldberg] has lead 134 pitches into the finals. His record is 124 wins and 10 losses – with Zimmerman winning the last 40 of 44 pitches they have been in.” Can we count his great Captain D’s send-off as a win as well?
