To steal a Deadspin meme for a sec, we’ve received word that there have been a couple more exits from the Chiat LA camp, one of them being AD Norio Ichikiwa, who walked out of the agency along with his creative partner (identity yet to be determined).
While it seems Ichikawa had less to lose since he was technically a freelancer (his portfolio can be seen here), sources familiar with the matter tell us that he bolted due to the “usual Chiat chaos” that many of you commenters speak of time and time again. So, it’s pretty safe to say we can’t blame Deutsch for this one. Here’s an idea: how’s about we just do a departure retrospective for Chiat LA and G2 at the end of summer and call it a day, hmm?
