-WPP-owned global brand strategy/design agency, Brand Union, and digital brand consultancy partner, Digit, have been appointed by Land Rover as its new brand identity partner. We’ve been told the aforementioned agencies won out in a “rigorous” pitch process among a handful of others, though no word on who those were as of yet.

-Speaking of reviews, privately-held wireless provider C Spire has tapped Doner to handle media duties. The MDC-owned agency takes over for Spark on media buying/planning duties.

-Grey Group has announced the merger of Grey Milan and 1861 United to create a new Milan-based agency dubbed Grey United, which will now house 100 staffers.

-L.A.-based prodco/strategic consultancy Wondros has signed Icelandic directing duo Arni & Kinski to its roster.

-Sid Lee has launched a new content division and has appointed Joseph Barbieri as managing director/content & media partnerships.

-The One Club has announced the winners of its 2014 One Show Automotive Advertising of the Year awards. W+K London nabbed top TV honors for its Honda “Hands” spot, which you can revisit above. link

-New York-based design/animation boutique Mr. Wonderful has added Gary Keenan as creative director.

-New York-based shop Rooster has redesigned its website. link
