-Nike co-founder/chairman Phil Knight, former DDB chairman/CCO Bob Scarpelli and Ogilvy chairman emeritus Shelley Lazarus are among the seven inductees headlining the 64th Annual Advertising Hall of Fame gala, which will take place on April 29, 2013 at the Waldorf-Astoria. McDonald’s, meanwhile, will be next year’s corporate HoF honoree. link

-CP+B continues its ongoing “See you tomorrow” campaign for Applebee’s with more chef expertise, this time featuring 19-time world “flair bartending” champ, Christian Delpech (above).

-Former RAPP Dallas SVP Naveen Passey recently joined Doner as CFO/COO. On the CFO side, Passey replaces Larry Kempa, who left Doner to become a financial consultant. The COO portion of his title, meanwhile, is a new one at the agency.

-Carrot Creative is already celebrating its inclusion in Tumblr’s “A List” of preferred agency partners (others include Droga5, Deep Focus and AKQA–read full announce here) with, yes, a Tumblr site called “Everyday We Tumbln’ (so meta). link

-Starcom MediaVest alum Raymond Reid has joined Neo@Ogilvy as managing director of its Toronto office.

-L.A.-based entertainment company Windowseat signed directors Matt Fife and Chris Hicky for commercial, TV and film representation.

-15-year Blitz Media vet Greg Angland has joined fellow Boston media agency, NorBella, in the newly created role of media director.

-Perhaps Anthony Bourdain won the internet so far this week with his “Fighting Mad” rant against his old network, Travel Channel, and a certain Cadillac endorsement. link

-Indie St. Louis experiential agency Switch appointed Peter Dycus as director of digital production and Chris Douglas as director of digital strategy/UX.
