-Finnish firm hasan & partners has acquired a 51% stake in digital-focused, Stockholm/Amsterdam-based shop Perfect Fools. Patrick Gardner, CEO of Perfect Fools, explains, “As an independent creative agency with digital roots, joining forces with our friends at hasan & partners enables us to better answer the integrated briefs we see more of. Although we already work with many clients on more than just digital, now we can offer greater and wider capabilities. We have always respected hasan & partners’ creativity so this is a match made in heaven.” Management team of the new partnership is above.

-Julie Demaio, former SVP, managing director/media at IPG’s BPN, has joined Carat USA as EVP/managing director. In her new role, Demaio will be responsible for overseeing the Danone, Diageo, Smucker’s, and Burberry business, and will manage 100 staff in the New York office.
