-For three weeks, we inquired and were met with a consistent “no comment” each time from the Gap Inc. camp (Friday was our last correspondence). Well, now the story’s “broke” that Old Navy and CP+B have indeed parted ways. Bravo to all involved. link

-Director Chris Sargent has joined the roster of bi-coastal/London-based prodco Anonymous Content for commercial representation in the US.

-Staying on the prodco front for a sec, Curious Pictures has welcomed a pair of executive producers, namely Gary Giambalvo in the New York office and Adam Bloom in the West Coast. In addition, Curious signed director Daniel Cohen to its roster for U.S. representation.

-Leo Burnett London creative Hollie Belton is trying to combat boredom on the tube with a new effort called “Books on the Underground” (example above). link

-Mickey D’s is planning to open up its first location in Vietnam. link

-Manhattan production studio Click 3X has hired Esteban Montes as interactive art director and Melissa Witt as interactive designer. link
