Tit for Tat: Apple Pokes Microsoft

The game Microsoft and Apple are playing will apparently never end. In response to Microsoft’s latest gaggle of spots, called “laptop hunters”, Apple has “Elimination.” In it, a woman is looking for a new laptop, so she gives her specs to PC, who has lined up a bunch of other PCs behind him. As the woman spouts her wants, PC tells the others whose wares don’t fit to get outta line. Pretty soon there’s no one left, but Mac. Oh haha, “Hi, I’m a Mac,” says Mac. “I’m a Megan,” says the Megan.

What’s interesting about this is that TBWA\Media Arts Lab will never have to concept an ad for as long as Apple remains their client. So long as Microsoft keeps making commercials, all the Apple team will have to do is respond. Brilliant. Lazy. Advertising!
