Who is going to SXSW? Raise your hands, so I can be totally jealous.
This year, Ogilvy has put together the first ever Blacks in Technology Meetup at SXSW. Moderated by Jeffrey Bowman, a partner within the Marketing Strategy practice at Ogilvy North America, the event will host social media experts such as Baratunde Thurston, Denise Jacobs, and Nichelle Stephens.
The event will take place on Friday, March 13 from from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Carver Museum and Cultural Center (1165 Angelina Street). The event is open to new media professionals, as well as those who are hoping to break into this industry. Why, why, why am I not going to SXSW? Oh that’s right… I have to work. Damn.
