So today on the show the phrase “China-man” is used but only to prepare you for what is definitely one of the less-tasteful ads we’ve shown. This week we jump back in time to the 60s when it was socially acceptable for an American to use a cheesy “Chinese” accent in a commercial. Those were the days when we thought authenticity could be manufactured and things like “wasn’t that a great commercial” were said at the end of spots. This is why we look up to Draper?
