As Cannes Lions 2012 fast approaches, the organizers behind the annual French Riviera bacchanal (and awards show) continue filling out jury duties, this time appointing Ogilvy worldwide creative director Tham Khai Meng as president of the Film and Press juries.
The 12-year O&M vet, who moved to NYC from the Asia-Pacific region in 2009 to assume his current title (as well as that of chairman of Ogilvy’s Worldwide Creative Council), is no stranger to Cannes, having chaired and served on juries ranging from Press and Outdoor to Titanium and Integrated over the last decade. As if you needed a reminder, but we’ll tell you anyways that this year’s Cannes Lions event will run from June 17-23.
