Tech Blogger Gets a New Watch Following Logo Attack

Technology blogger Brian Madden called out software brand Quest for having an outdated 80’s logo during a recent interview with Tech Target’s website SearchVirtualDesktop.com. Why? Because he can. Madden’s poke quickly spread like wildfire sparking Quest’s agency of record INK to create a hasty rebuttal within a week’s time.

With tongue-in-cheek re-branding and payback in mind, including an animated version of Quest’s admittedly stale logo, CEO Doug Garn jabs back by pronouncing that if he can motivate 500 Madden fans to re-tweet the video link with the hashtag #ilovebrian, Brian and one of his fans would win a new Vestal watch of their choice. Within 24 hours of Quest’s response, that number was crushed reaching over 93,000 people who had been exposed to the re-tweets, and over 2,200 watched the video on YouTube. Enjoy the new watch, Brian…now, will this work for the rest of us?
