TAXI Europe Nabs Global Unilever Assigmment

After launching its first “competitive” review for TIGI since acquiring it in 2009, Unilever has picked TAXI Europe to handle the global business for the haircare brand. The U.K.-based TIGI, formerly part of Toni & Guy International, includes products such as Bed Head (a fave during our pomade-using days), S:Factor and Catwalk.

TAXI will now work with the TIGI team headquartered across the pond and develop digital and social media initiatives while also handling creative and strategic brand work. Says Maarten van Huijstee, co-ECD at TAXI Europe’s base in Amsterdam, “TIGI made it clear that they are only interested in creative excellence, in best of breed work which will help shape the brand. We’re really excited at the opportunity to do some great work together.”
