Spike Lee Gives a Shout Out to Brooklyn in Absolut Collab

By Kiran Aditham

The New York Knicks’ #1 fan Spike Lee has re-teamed with NYC/London-based VFX/design studio Smoke & Mirrors to launch this spot that’s part of the filmmaker’s work for Absolut. Having already designed the Absolut Brooklyn bottles earlier this year, the filmmaker now pays tribute visually to his fave borough with the help of spoken word artist, Lemon Andersen, who manages to squeeze in names of basically all the Brooklyn neighborhoods.

Lee and S&M, the latter of which handled post and VFX on this spot, first partnered on the music video for Michael Jackson’s This Is It. Credits after the jump.
