space150 Makes Pair of Agency-First Executive Appointments

By Erik Oster

space150 promoted two executives to newly-created roles at the agency: managing partner, chief technology officer Marc Jensen will now serve as chief innovation officer; former managing partner, executive creative director Brock Davis will now fill the role of chief creative officer.

Davis joined space150 from OLSON, where he served as group creative director, in June of 2014. Prior to OLSON he spent nearly nine years at Carmichael Lynch as an art director and group creative director, where he worked with brands including Jack Links Beef Jerky, Subaru, Harley-Davidson and Porsche. That followed three years as an art director with Martin Williams Advertising, working with clients including Powertel, Sorel Boots, Syngenta, Zonetrader, Wick Fowler’s and Partnership For A Drug-Free America. He has also spent time as an art director with Hunt Adkins and Peterson Milla Hooks. Davis is also a noted designer and has created a line of kids’ t-shirts for Target and exhibited at Banksy‘s Dismaland.

Jensen originally joined space150 over 13 years ago, in November of 2002, following a little over a year as a developer with Destineer Studios. Before that he served as director of research and development at Lambsoft. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design since 2000.

“Brock and Marc have always been able to tap into creativity and science that goes above and beyond the expected – both for our industry and for our clients,” said space150 founder and CEO Billy Jurewicz. “With the ability to focus and spread their talents across our growing network, the aim is to catalyze their talents to better help our clients and partners navigate this new frontier. As an agency, we destroy convention and create demand, and I continually stand in awe at their talent in doing both.”
