Snoop Dogg Dives Deep for Adidas

By Bob Marshall

Last week, Adidas and Portland-based shop Kamp Grizzly launched a brand new star-studded campaign called “All Originals,” which matched the brand’s Originals sneaker line with inventive and stylish celebrities from the world of entertainment.

Aside from the minute-long TV spot, Kamp Grizzly also shot a collection of 40-second vignettes that focus on the celebrity endorsers’ individual philosophies on how one becomes an icon. For Snoop Dogg, an ascent to fame consisted of murder charges, cameos on classic early-90s Dr. Dre songs and a whole lot of weed. But, two decades into the Doggfather’s career, he’s established himself as not only a hip-hop icon, but a general entertainment icon, with new generations of music fans discovering songs like “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” and falling in love. Also featured in the above spot are Mike G and Domo for L.A. shock-rap collaborative OFWGKTA, which now marks the second time the group’s gotten a mention on AgencySpy. The celebrity-dominated minute-long spot and credits follow after the jump.
