Siebert Leaves HUGE for Digitaria

By Kiran Aditham

After a year spent serving as communications commandent at Brooklyn-based, IPG-owned shop HUGE, Tom Siebert is now headed to the West Coast to serve as VP of communications at JWT-owned Digitaria. Despite sounding like a midtown Manhattan nightclub from the late 80’s/early 90’s, the San Diego-based Digitaria houses over 100 employees and counts clients including the NFL, Comcast and DreamWorks Animation.

Siebert tells us, “JWT seems ardent about putting Digitaria in the room for anything they’re doing, and the top execs realize that digital must be at the center of everything (or at least part of the conversation — let’s face it, there are some brands where digital might not be the way to lead).  I came to the right place at the right time, believe me.”
Prior to HUGE, Siebert spent 2 1/2 years at Initiative and helped create the concept for the shop’s award-winning Mad Men integration with AdAge. During his career, Siebert also was on the communications side at Havas unit MPG and was an editor-at-large at Mediapost for a time.
